More antioxidants may mean less chance of type 2 diabetes

Vitamin E and other antioxidants can be beneficial in preventing type 2 diabetes, according to the initial stages of new Finnish research. The study said participants whose diets included the most vitamin E, including fruits, vegetables and whole grains, were 30% less likely to develop type 2 diabetes than those who consumed the least amount of the vitamin.
