AMA: Veterinarians, other professionals can help during disasters

The American Medical Association this weekend gathered 100 veterinarians at the University of Georgia's Center for Continuing Education to undergo basic disaster-response training. The group realizes that thousands of veterinarians, pharmacists, dentists and other medical professionals in the country can be called upon to help in case of a nuclear or biological attack and other man-made disasters.
