Construction industry hopes stimulus will alleviate problems

The troubled U.S. construction industry is expecting a lift from the $787 billion economic-stimulus package President Barack Obama is expected to sign today. "Not only will this put people back to work pouring concrete -- where we have a nice market share -- but spending on infrastructure such as airports should also help some of our specialty products like snow removal and rescue vehicles," said Bob Bohn, chief executive of Oshkosh.
