NBCT receives grant, organizes history project

Lisa Hargett, a National Board Certified Teacher in Alabama, recently organized the History Alive project -- a grant-funded lesson in American history. "The overall goal of History Alive is to provide the entire school and invited community with a dramatic re-enactment of the chronological accounts and lives of important American figures," Hargett said. "By revealing these characters as full-living personalities, others visiting our museum walk will be made aware of the historical character's civic responsibilities, their motivations, as well as their deeds."
