As phthalates are phased out, some wonder what will take their place

Now that three phthalates are banned in the U.S. and three others are subject to further study, some are wondering what will replace them as plastic softeners in children's products. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission meanwhile says it is concerned about implementation and enforcement of the rule, and one National Public Radio journalist examines how companies will make products safer.
