Too early for conclusions on icing and Flight 3407, NTSB says

A spokesman for the National Transportation Safety Board said Monday it's still too early to jump to conclusions about what happened to Continental Connection Flight 3407. Though ice has been frequently mentioned, Steven Chealander said investigators are still interviewing other pilots in the area and that there have been no reports of severe icing. He noted that another Dash 8 Q400 took off from Newark just 27 minutes after Flight 3407 and landed in Buffalo, N.Y., without incident.
