HP profits, revenue show healthy jumps

Hewlett-Packard reported quarterly profit growth of 25% and its PC division enjoyed a 20% increase in revenue, with total revenue of $31.18 billion, up 8.2% compared with a year earlier. The financial results prompted the PC and printer maker to adjust its fiscal-year expectations, pushing the revenue goal to $121.5 billion to $122.5 billion, up from $118 billion to $119 billion.
