Maryland considers ban on baby products that contain BPA

Maryland officials held a hearing Wednesday to discuss whether the sale of sippy cups, baby bottles and other products containing bisphenol A, which has been linked to health problems in children, should be banned in the state. The proposed ban is expected to be approved, especially after it was revised to exclude food containers and tin cans with plastic linings that contain BPA.
