Report: Distraction greater among teen female motorists

Teenage female drivers are more inclined to send text messages, make phone calls and change music while behind the wheel compared with their male counterparts, according to a report from Allstate Foundation. "As more young women participate in activities like competitive sports and take on a more assertive lifestyle, they're narrowing the gender gap when it comes to risk taking in all aspects of their life."
