U.S. online display-ad spending with a behavioral component that looks at audience interest and intentions reached $925 million in 2009. Behavioral targeted ad spending will rise to at least $2.6 billion by the end of 2014. Those dollar figures represent steady growth rates of about 20% or a shade higher from 2009 through 2014.
