CDC sorts states by least, most physical activity

The CDC found that Kentucky, Mississippi and Oklahoma were among the states with at least 70% of counties rated as least active, while Colorado, California and Vermont were among the states with at least 70% of counties rated as most physically active. One researcher said that combining this map on inactivity with previous maps on obesity and diabetes shows the three are closely tied and that Southern and Appalachian areas have high rates of all three.
