Calif. could prevent food trucks near schools

A California lawmaker is seeking to prevent food trucks from parking within 1,500 feet of a school from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. "We serve fruits and vegetables every single day. We're mandated to. We have limits on how much fat our meals can have, how much sodium, how much sugar," said Rene Yamashiro of the state's School Nutrition Association, noting that food trucks do not have to follow the same guidelines.
