Effective Web designs take the preferences of their intended audience into account -- and designing a site for women is no different. Working feminine imagery, colors and fonts into your site can make it more appealing to your chosen demographic, but be careful not to fall into the trap of relying on stereotypes, writes Tara Hornor. "We gals do not like to be put into a box. ... [I]f you are a dude, have a few women review the design and give you their opinions," she writes.
