Brazil gets an Apple store

More than 1,700 people turned out for the opening of Apple's first store in Brazil, which strengthens the company's focus on growth in emerging markets. Apple accounts for 9.1% of Brazil's smartphone market, behind Samsung's 42.4% and LG's 13.3% but ahead of Motorola and Nokia, according to figures from Gartner.
