Has the video game-toy hybrid finally broken through?

The interactive toy market grew 70% in 2013, according to Activision, further fueling plans by the company and others, including Disney, to produce toys that "talk" to video games and encourage physical interaction with the screen. Disney's "Frozen" playset that interacts with an Infinity video game has sold 3 million copies, and Activision's Skylanders franchise has generated more than $2 billion in toy and video game sales since its inception.
