Lawsuit against Guggenheim over annuities withdrawn day after it was filed

A lawsuit claiming that Guggenheim Partners and three insurance companies that it controls improperly concealed the insurance companies' true financial condition from purchasers of annuities was dropped the day after it was filed in Chicago. A lawyer representing the plaintiffs filed a notice of voluntary dismissal in federal court.
