Los Angeles classroom teachers get a lesson in PE

The Los Angeles Unified School District is participating in programs that dispatch physical-education teachers to train classroom educators on how to integrate outdoor PE lessons into the school day. Versions of the program are being used in elementary and middle schools and are funded by the district, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institutes of Health.
