Shanghai to host British delegation for maths lessons

England's Education Minister Elizabeth Truss will lead a delegation on a visit to Shanghai, in which officials will study the country's successful maths education practices. The findings could potentially be used to improve teaching and learning in England. Truss credited Shanghai's "can-do attitude to maths", as well as "teaching practices and a positive philosophy that make the difference".
