Study: Videos key in home improvement purchases

The majority of home improvement consumers say that video content is a vital part of the shopping process, and 25% of the videos watched are ads, according to a Frank Magid Associates and Millward Brown Digital study for Tremor Video. Of those surveyed, 71% watch videos to see the product in action, 69% to gather more information and 41% to narrow down their purchasing options.
