United Arab Emirates teachers consider new models for teaching, learning

About 1,000 school leaders, teachers and principals who attended the Abu Dhabi Education Council conference on Sunday discussed new educational models, such as flipped instruction and others that spark innovation. In their support for flipped instruction, speakers said the model makes efficient use of classroom time and alters the role of teachers, allowing them to encourage students to drive their own learning, while connecting them with the resources they need.
