Wrigley sees fruits of diversification

Since Bill Wrigley Jr. took the reins of the world's leading chewing gum maker in March 1999, the company has seen its stock increase by 18%. Analysts say "functional gums" that soothe sore throats and help clear stuffy nasal passages have helped the company double price per unit and expand gross margins.
