Chinese producer prices see fastest monthly jump in three years

China's producer price index rose 6.1% in January over the same month last year, the National Bureau of Statistics said Monday. It was the largest monthly increase in three years for the index, which measures the cost of goods when they leave the factory. The PPI rose 5.4% in December and 4.6% in November.
