Esophageal cancer can be difficult to detect

Congressman Tom Lantos died of complications from esophageal cancer last week, and doctors say his disease is very difficult to detect in its early stages. Symptoms can include difficulty swallowing, a hoarse voice and weight loss, as well as regurgitation of food, vomiting and nausea.
