Florida's lengthy evolution debate to culminate in Tuesday vote

After months of controversy, the Florida state board of education on Tuesday will decide whether to include evolution in its science standards. Conservatives, especially in the northern part of the state, say evolution, if it is taught, should be presented as a theory with "strengths and weaknesses," and believe faith-based alternatives also have a place in science class discussions.
