Students learn academic, environmental lessons from sea turtle

Students in a Mount Airy, Md., elementary school are learning academic and environmental lessons by studying a sea turtle named "Jamur," which their school adopted through the Caribbean Conservation Corp. Students are learning about the sea turtle, tracking its movements online, incorporating the turtle into art projects and collecting plastic bags -- which can be dangerous for sea turtles -- for recycling.
