Report: Ethanol demand to remain strong

The Agricultural Department projects ethanol demand will remain strong in the U.S. for an extended period of time, propping up corn prices. "Although increases in corn-based ethanol production in the U.S. are projected to slow, ethanol demand remains high and affects production, use and prices of farm commodities throughout the sector," states a report issued by the agency.
