CMS: Part D premiums to fall in 2014

Medicare Part D beneficiaries will have lower premiums in 2014 and government support for Medicare Advantage plans will shrink due to reduced increases in health spending, the CMS said in a statement. Part D's standard deductible will be $310, or 4.6% lower than in 2013. Copayments are also expected to be down.
