Two years after receiving a full face transplant to reconstruct damage left by a gunshot wound, Richard Norris is reconnecting with friends and studying for a degree in information technology. Norris' surgeon, Eduardo Rodriguez, chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center, said Norris just wanted to live a normal life again. One friend said Norris' face may look different, but he still walks the same, has the same sense of humor and is "the same guy" he was before the gun accident.
