Philadelphia's African-American history course mandate debated

Debate continues over the requirement that sophomores in Philadelphia high schools take a course in African-American history. About 11,000 students are taking the class, but while some teachers and students -- both black and white -- support the idea of the class, they disagree with the mandate.
