Kraft reformulates, rolls out new salad dressings

Kraft Foods is reinventing its salad dressing line to feature improved packaging and five new vinaigrettes as part of CEO Irene Rosenfeld's three-year turnaround plan to boost the company's profitability. Rising popularity of private labels and the decline in sales of nonrefrigerated salad dressings are obstacles that Kraft hopes to overcome with its latest effort to recapture market share.
