Hyundai nabs eight ad spots on Oscars telecast

Hyundai plans to run seven 30-second commercials and one 60-second spot during Sunday's Academy Awards telecast. Two ads will feature its Genesis Coupe and several others will spotlight the automaker's program allowing consumers who lose their jobs to return purchased or leased vehicles, while the longer spot will highlight the automaker's history and place in the U.S. market.
