Mesa reverses year-ago loss, posts $15.3M quarterly profit

Mesa Air Group reported first-quarter profits of $15.3 million, bolstered by the first-ever profitable quarter at go!, its inter-island carrier in Hawaii. After losing $2.8 million in the year-ago period, Mesa CEO Jonathan Ornstein said he was pleased by the turnaround. "We continue to execute our restructuring plan and take steps needed to improve the financial and operational performance of the company," he said.
