Survey: N.J. hospitals struggling financially

A survey of New Jersey hospitals found they have lost about $1.7 million in cash and net worth as the economy worsens. The data showed 80% of hospitals have seen an increase in charity care patients, almost 75% have had a decline in charitable contributions and 45% have had to reduce staff.
