TSA officials say a Newark passenger was "completely innocent" when he left a screening area with what appeared to be wine bottles in his carry-on bag. A screener flagged the wrong bag, allowing the man in question to simply walk away. The officer "should have flagged the bag with the wine bottles, but he flagged a different bag," according to a TSA spokeswoman. "Meanwhile, the passenger who's got the wine bottles thinks he's clear." After discovering the error, TSA shut down the Terminal A security checkpoint for about an hour, delaying nine flights.
