Baked rhubarb is seen as cancer fighter

In a study, garden-grown rhubarb that was baked for 20 minutes showed a dramatic increase in polyphenols, which have been shown to fight cancer cells. "Our research has shown that British rhubarb is a potential source of pharmacological agents that may be used to develop new anti-cancerous drugs," said one of the study's researchers.
