Candy tax is closer to reality in Colorado

The Colorado Senate has approved a 2.9% sales tax on candy, which could be implemented as soon as March. Andrew Schuman, president of Hammond's Candies, says the tax unfairly targets a single industry and could hurt business if it prompts people to buy less candy.
