Darden ponders international expansion

The parent company of Red Lobster and Olive Garden is looking at international markets including Mexico and the Persian Gulf, with an eye on expanding. Darden Restaurants has historically focused on building its brands in the U.S. "International's something that has really been off the table for us for quite a while," said CEO Clarence Otis. "We think the time has come."
