Boomer parents are joining in children's job searches

Boomer parents, more inclined than earlier generations to participate in their children's lives, are increasingly a part of the job-application process for their offspring. Some companies are making accommodations, noting that grown children with parent assistance are often stronger and better-prepared job applicants. For the boomer parents, meanwhile, the prospect of quick employment after graduation means it's less likely they'll have to house and feed a jobless son or daughter.
