What it takes to lead a globalized workforce

Globalization is changing the face of corporate leadership, Bill George writes. Companies can no longer count on a centralized management structure that is rooted in one culture. Effective leadership will require managers to be at ease working in different cultures and languages wherever they go. Companies need to develop global leadership teams based on "self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and resilience," George writes.
