Runway is back in use at Fla. airport after overhaul

Just minutes after the runway reopened at Destin Airport in Florida, planes began to land. The airport had been closed to fixed-wing aircraft in order to complete a $5 million project to overhaul its runway and install an electronic navigation system, signs and LED lights.
