Team pitches winning plan for emergency QR codes

The team "In Case of Emergency" had the winning idea at Startup Weekend Health Philadelphia, proposing that QR codes be loaded onto phones or cards so first responders could scan them to access medical data about a nonresponsive victim. The product would be pitched to health insurers. Code Amber Alertag already has an emergency QR code system but it is marketed to individuals.
