BMW and SAP developing contextual marketing apps for drivers

BMW is working with software manufacturer SAP to build marketing applications for drivers that will provide contextual, location-based information while they are driving. "In our vision for a virtual marketplace of the future, the vehicle will provide customers with context-adaptive, preference-based and timely offers and information relevant to their route," BMW's Dr. Jorg Preißinger says.
