Firms pursue personalized CVD treatment

The Montreal Heart Institute is collaborating with the Quebec government and biotech firms on a research program focused on using biomarkers to develop personalized cardiovascular disease treatments. The project, known as Arteria, will combine methods that use imaging, biomarkers and pharmacogenetic markers into one process to predict treatment response.
