Plans in the works for new Panama City-Bay County airport

A donation of 4,000 acres from Florida's largest real estate developer along with serious safety issues concerning the current airport's runway length could result in the construction of a new Panama City-Bay County airport. The project is expected to allow for the number of passengers traveling by air to the city to increase from 400,000 to 600,000 by 2020.
