Hong Kong's CSL readies initial all-IP network

China's ZTE and Hong Kong carrier CSL New World Mobility have completed testing of a fully integrated all-IP network, using ZTE's Software Defined Radio-based HSPA+ network, the companies announced. ZTE said SDR would add flexibility to the network because it needed less space and power while providing CSLNWM with advanced traffic management as well as the ability to upgrade to next-generation wireless technology.
