Feds establish MU policies to assist public health agencies

U.S. agencies have developed new regulations as well as testing and formatting tools to help public health organizations as they struggle to meet the objectives under the government's meaningful use program. "Agencies are really having problems scaling up right now -- information exchange is a long-term positive that has created a lot of short-term disruption," said Dr. Seth Foldy, an informatics and technology official with the CDC.
