Indiana's $423M Accelerate 465 could finish 2 years early

The Indiana Department of Transportation is working to ensure the $423 million Accelerate 465 project remains on schedule. The reconstruction of 11 miles of Interstate 465 includes construction of six main interchanges and reconstruction of four overpass bridges. Final work is expected to be done this fall under the direction of Walsh Construction. The project is part of Gov. Mitch Daniels' 10-year, $10 billion "Major Moves" transportation initiative.
