Mississippi bill would open school tracks, gyms to public

Legislation in Mississippi would allow schools to open their tracks, trails and gyms to the public as a way to encourage physical activity and fight obesity. The idea for the bill came from the Healthy Foods Advisory Committee, which also proposed farm-to-school initiatives to provide fresh locally grown food to schools.
