Obama budget proposal includes funding cut for NAEP test

The National Assessment of Educational Progress -- known as the nation's report card -- would receive $6 million less in funding under President Barack Obama's current budget proposal. Meanwhile, $6 million would be allocated to a state-level pilot program for comparing U.S. students to their peers in other countries on an international standardized test.
