Teacher in France uses Twitter for reading, writing lessons

A teacher in France is using the microblogging website Twitter to help her preschool students learn to read and write. Beginning this academic year, students have been posting tweets about their daily activities for about 88 followers -- most of whom are parents. The students discuss among themselves what they want to tweet, and two students are selected to type the 140 characters into the computer.
